AMMAN – His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), chaired a meeting of ‘Towards Digital Jordan’ committee, one of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF) committees, to develop cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in the field of digital transformation implemented by the Ministry.
During the meeting, members of the Committee expressed their support to the Ministry’s efforts, as they conform with the Committee's goals that include developing executive plans and procedure for transforming Jordan into a knowledge-based digital country and society, incorporating e-government, digital economy, digital learning and all other areas of digital transformation.
The Committee affirmed its readiness to continue its operations on this basis with full coordination with the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to establish a public-private partnership, in accordance with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein in this regard in all fields.
The Committee also expressed its readiness to offer all required services and efforts including studies, organizing meetings and activities that contribute to achieving these goals through TAG-KF.
The ‘Towards Digital Jordan’ Committee is chaired by Eng. Hishan Qattan, ICT Expert, and the membership of Ms. Reema Diab, Founder and CEO of Galaxy Information Technology, Eng. Samir Al Shamayleh, ICT expert, Mr. Abdul-Hameed Al Rahamneh, Director General of Almonsifoon Trading & Consulting Company, and Eng. Malik Fathi Al Amayreh, Head of Electrical Engineering Division - Jordanian Engineers Association.
