Public Security Directorate Officers Graduate a ToT Course Delivered by TAG-Org

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) organized a graduation ceremony for Public Security Directorate (PSD) officers that completed a Training of Trainers (ToT) course offered by the Organization, with the presence of PSD Assistant Director for Judicial Police, Brigadier-General Walid Battah, and Executive Director of TAG-Org Mr. Salah Abu-Osbeh, representing HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of TAG-Org. The course is the fourth of a series of ToT courses delivered by TAG-Org for thirty officers of PSD personnel.
Mr. Abu-Osbeh conveyed greetings to the distinguished guests and congratulated the officers for completing the course, indicating that it is offered as part of TAG-Org’s cooperation with the PSD, which started in 2003. He indicated, “TAG-Org is keen to develop and sustain this cooperation, upon directives of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, to further serve the community and its members in different aspects.”
Mr. Abu-Osbeh said, “Through Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s distinguished contributions, many accomplishments were achieved in economic, educational, and technical fields. In addition, his role in raising the profile and modern image of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a knowledge-based society and his initiatives in local development resulted in His Majesty King Abdullah II bestowing upon Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh the Order of Independence of the First Class during the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s 70th Independence Day celebrations.” 
Meanwhile, Brigadier-General Battah expressed thanks and appreciation for TAG-Org, represented by its Chairman Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, as the ongoing cooperation with TAG-Org indicates the twinning and harmony between the public and private sectors that aims at promoting education and knowledge for all under the Hashemite leadership.
Brigadier-General Battah said, “The PSD is continuing its efforts to train its personnel either through public or private entities to strengthen their skills and enhance their capabilities of providing optimal services for the people in different areas.” He also congratulated the officers as their graduation comes in the course of celebrations of Jordan’s 70th Independence Day and the Great Arab Revolt Centennial.
The graduating officers were nominated by the PSD’s Training Department as qualified trainers for the different courses offered at the PSD’s twenty knowledge stations, which are located around the country and were established through an initiative by TAG-Org to establish 100 knowledge stations in different governorates.
The thirty officers were trained to acquire the Cambridge International Diploma in Information Technology, where they had to pass an evaluation exam and complete 50 hours of training.
Certificates were distributed at the conclusion of the ceremony, attended by the Director of PSD’s Training Department, Brigadier-General Tayseer Hijazeen, a number of PSD commissioned and non-commissioned officers, and several of TAG-Org’s certified trainers.
