Abu-Ghazaleh elected Honorary President of Yafa Society for Social Development

AMMAN – The Orthodox Club and Yafa Society for Social Development organized a meeting under the chairmanship of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh attended by members of the Club and the Society in the presence of a host of interested people and members of TAG Knowledge Forum to talk about the most prominent challenges he faced in his life and made him a first-class businessman.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh was welcomed by Society President Raed Hamadah, member of the Society’s Cultural Committee Dr. Mohammad Hajjaj, and the Club’s representatives.
During the meeting, the Society awarded Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh its Honorary Chairmanship for his life journey and the continued successes he achieves, noting that he was born and raised in Jaffa until 1948.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude to the Club management and the Society for inviting him to this meeting, assuring that Jaffa, Palestine and the Arab world are always in his heart, adding, “I can never forget any place in this country that served and supported me”.
"We in the Arab world live the best life stages. The European countries suffered enormously to reach Europe’s renaissance, and we Arabs are a great nation by all means, and a renaissance will be coming and we will be back to lead the world. We are on our way to accomplish this. What we need now is to use our capabilities in the right direction”.
"We should not waste our time on hatred or responding to haters, what we have to do is to utilize our time and capabilities in developing ourselves, with the belief that we can’t succeed and progress without happiness all through our journey, and that success in life is by giving, continuous learning, love of others and earning their love”.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh talked about his life journey since he was a child and left his country as a refugee until he accomplished his achievements now, delivering a number of messages to the attendees saying that any person gets the happiness he deserves, and when suffering, seizing opportunities is a must and believing it is a blessing that opens the doors of determination, persistence and excellence and thus success.
He pointed out that the life journey should be crowned by respect for the law and dealing with honesty and transparency to avoid many problems and difficulties, and that love is the most powerful weapon in the world that should always be used.
Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that knowledge is the base of wealth, and that the whole world is moving towards investing in information and communications technology and intellectual property, calling for investing in human resources and encouraging the cognitive production.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh received the Honorary Shield of the Society.
